DUBAI – Sobha Realty, a leading global luxury real estate developer, has announced a remarkable Dh30 billion in sales for FY 2025, reflecting a 30 percent increase compared to 2024.

The surge underscores both the strength of the UAE’s luxury property market and the confidence investors place in the Sobha brand. A key contributor to this performance was the developer’s growing presence in Umm Al Quwain, where Downtown UAQ | Sobha Realty and Sobha Siniya Island accounted for Dh8 billion in sales.

The impressive figures also highlight the positive reception of Sobha Realty’s new masterplans, which continue to redefine urban living standards across the Emirates.

Masterplan expansion

During 2025, Sobha Realty launched four significant masterplans: Sobha Solis, Downtown UAQ | Sobha Realty, Sobha Central, and Sobha SkyParks. These projects brought the company’s UAE portfolio to 14 developments, with 12 in Dubai and two in Umm Al Quwain. Each development reflects the firm’s emphasis on high-quality construction, attention to detail, and sustainable design, reinforcing its role as a major influencer in the UAE’s real estate sector.

Sobha Group Chairman, Ravi Menon, said, “Our growth across the UAE and expansion into global markets reflect a vision that has remained constant since our inception: to create developments that stand the test of time.”

Global growth

Beyond the Gulf, Sobha Realty advanced its international footprint, establishing offices and acquiring land in the United States and Australia. Strategic investments in Texas, Queensland, and Sydney marked a pivotal step in the company’s evolution as a global real estate leader.

Financially, this growth was supported by significant sukuk issuances. A US$500 million sukuk was oversubscribed three times at US$1.54 billion, while the company’s inaugural US$750 million Green Sukuk – the largest by any real estate developer globally – received approximately US$2.1 billion in orders, achieving 2.8 times oversubscription. These issuances, listed on both the London Stock Exchange and NASDAQ Dubai, demonstrated strong investor confidence in Sobha Realty’s strategic direction.

Sustainability and innovation

Sobha Realty strengthened its ESG credentials during the year. Sobha One became the first building outside Singapore to achieve Green Mark Platinum Super Low Energy certification. The company scored 97 in the 2025 GRESB Real Estate Assessment, earning a 4-Star Rating and cementing its reputation as a low-carbon, sustainable developer.

The firm also introduced an industry-first enhanced maternity leave policy, offering 120 days of leave while retaining all employment benefits, signalling a commitment to a progressive workplace.

Brand partnerships

Sobha Realty expanded its international visibility through partnerships with globally recognised institutions. It became a Global Partner for International Cricket Council (ICC) Men’s events, maintained its collaboration with Arsenal FC, and continued its association with the International Indian Film Academy (IIFA) Awards. These strategic alliances have amplified the brand’s presence among diverse global audiences.
